  1. Have you read any of the Mrs. Polifax mysteries?? or seen Secondhand Lions (the movie?) I think they fit in really well with your taste! We HAD to read Eragon and Eldest by Paolini since he was a Jr High homeschooler when he wrote them!

  2. Hello and welcome, dandelionmom! I have seen Secondhand Lions and did like it. I have not read Mrs. Polifax nor have I read the Paolilni books. My son has read the Paolini books though and really liked them. I’ll have to look for the Mrs. P mysteries. I’ve never heard of them. Thanks so much for sharing!! :)

  3. I think the first one is The Unexpected Mrs. Polifax Dorothy Gilman is the author. Think Miss Marple using karate in the CIA globe-trotting solving mysteries, rescuing seasoned spies, matchmaking (!)all while wearing outrageous floral hats! check out at least 2 at a time-it is a serious bummer when you finish one!

  4. That sounds like something I would really enjoy!! Thanks for passing along the info. :)

  5. Your site is so fun=) I need a “favorite things” page! Now I have to go fold laundry=)

  6. Thanks, Mandy! :) haha! Have fun folding the laundry. ;)

  7. Did you see The Ultimate Gift? It’s a movie I certainly would recommend.

  8. No, I haven’t. I’ve never heard of it. Thanks for the recommendation!

  9. My kids are 11 and *almost* 14. And our movies list is very very similar!
